THE OLD SCHOOL ROCK-N-ROLL STORY:

Old School Rock-N-Roll was conceived in 2006 by our guitar player Ed Olsen. He came up with the conceptual idea of recreating the sights and sounds of the greatest hits of the '60's live!  He immediately hooked up with Drummer Lee Cressio and Old School Rock-N-Roll was born. They both grew up listening to this classic music, loving the harmonies and timeless melodies.

What makes Old School unique is that unlike many other bands we only play the greatest hits of the 1960's welive it, dressed in great 60's retro fashions.  Oh, there are many tribute bands around that specialize in recreating the songs and sounds of one artist or band, but Old School Rock-N-Roll specializes in recreateing the sounds of an entire decade, both the male and female artists of that time.

The sounds of Old School Rock-N-Roll will take you back to a simpler time, to your first kiss, your first heart-throb, a time when things were just a little less stressful. Our show is truly a six to sixty experience because these songs have never stopped playing on the radio, are constantly used in films, television shows or have been re-recorded time and time again. The variety of three male vocalists and two female vocalists allows Old School Rock-N-Roll to perform songs that you've never heard live before, but you've heard them a thousand times while cruising in your groovy ride to the beach or boardwalk.

You will be exhausted from dancing, as these songs will get you out of your chair and moving to the groove, while singing along with the lyrics you know by heart. Come and experience a show where you'll be dancing song after song, a show that will bring back the "good-old-days" time and time again. We are having a blast playing these songs, as they all have great memories attached to each one. The three words that best describes Old School Rock n Roll is....FUN, FUN, FUN!!! 

THIS SUNDAY OCTOBER 5TH  COME OUT AND SEE US AT THE MILE 4 STAGE!!!

Put on your running shoes and come out Sunday October 5th to the SAN JOSE ROCK-N- ROLL 1/2 MARATHON!!!  There will be live bands playing every mile (we are at the mile 4 stage) and there will be a concert at the end of the race featuring CCR.
